Columbus Chemical Industries supports the demand for custom chemical packaging in the Southwest with our manufacturing facility in Phoenix, AZ. CCI offers many different DOT/UN approved package sizes as well as private labeling.
Having the correct size packaging for your process can be paramount to the safety of personnel working with chemicals at your facility. Chemical packaging can be selected to reduce or eliminate:

- material quality or performance related risks
Small, Single Use Chemical Packaging
Bottles – Gallon and 2.2L sized poly bottles see the highest demand for bottled chemical packaging in the Southwest. CCI also offers custom bottle sizes to accommodate smaller package needs as well as different capping and boxing configurations, assessed on a case by case basis.
Carboys, Cans, and Cube-tainers – 5 gallon or 20 L poly carboys, metal cans, and cube-tainers (fiberboard carton with an inner poly bladder) can be excellent options for chemical packaging needs between bottle and 55 gal drum sizes.
Bulk Chemical Containers
Drums – 55 gallon drum sizes see the highest demand for drummed chemical needs in the Southwest, although 15 and 30 gallon sizes are also available. Drum material selection is typically based on the most economic option that will meet product compatibility and DOT requirements, with the most typical options for one-way use being poly, steel, or composite (steel drum with inner poly bladder), while returnable options may incorporate other materials, such as Teflon.
Totes- 275-330 gallon (1000-1250 L) one-way totes typically consist of a poly bladder inside of a metal cage. Returnable totes may consist of other materials, such as teflon, depending on the chemical’s compatibility and DOT requirements. Totes can be modified with options such as dip tubes, sample ports and quick connects to meet specific user requirements.
All returnable containers are tracked with serial numbers for traceability and maintenance required for upkeep and re-certification.
For some applications, ISO-Tainers (Tank Trucks) are also an option to consider.
