Product Description:
Ethyl Alcohol (Ethanol) is a widely used alcohol, popular in the medical field as an antiseptic, and solvent. Ethanol is also a popular component in many alcohol or solvent based consumer products, from mouthwash to paints to fuel, and is a common laboratory staple, especially common in the agriculture industry where it is used in testing quality conditions of certain crops.

Denatured Ethanol contains chemical agents such as methanol, isopropyl alcohol, and MIBK, rendering the alcohol unfit for drinking, thus lifting many of the permits/requirements for purchase, and related excise taxes that would apply to pure (or un-denatured) ethanol.
