Product Description:
Acetic Acid is commonly used in the food industry for applications similar to those of vinegar, such as pickling, canning, preserving, and cleaning. Vinegar itself is a form of dilute acetic acid, typically 4-18%, with other components contributing to distinct tastes and colors.

Our FCC specification is designed to comply with the requirements set forth by the Food Chemical Codex (FCC) for Acetic Acid.

Glacial acetic acid is considered anhydrous (undiluted) and has high freezing temperature of around 17°C (62°F). It is common in colder climates for acetic acid to solidify during transit or storage, however material may be brought back to liquid form with no impact to material quality if stored at a room temperature above the freezing point until thawed.
